We stopped in for breakfast before we left Shreveport. It is such a cute place and in a great location if you’re staying nearby at the casinos. The service and food were great! Great portions. Highly recommend!
My experience was great! We came hungry so the portion size was pretty good. The food may have taken awhile but, it went unnoticed because our crew didn’t come just to eat. We came to chat and enjoy each other’s company. I’ll be sure to return for the delicious food, great atmosphere and excellent service.
1st thing 1st, let's talk about parking! So easy to follow their instructions, please go to 501 parking lot at the light and you can park there for free in spots 41 to 52 only! There is a sign on their window! Handicap parking and easy if you are in a wheelchair! Now that's out of the way, let's get to the cafe!!! Walk in and have a seat anywhere the table or bar area has opening! It's a natural lighting setting! Plenty tables and can double if large parties need to sit together! Very nice brick exposed wall and skylight! Food is delicious!! Came out pretty quick and hot! Candied bacon is tasty with the kick of spicey added!! Coffee is good, and they have vanilla flavor liquid cream upon request! Tammy, our server, was so sweet! She was always ensuring we had our coffee cups filled and we were enjoying the food! I like that! Definitely give them a try if you are in the area! When we travel away from Houston we like trying local flavor, not franchises, support local, usually always better customer service such as here! If you are staying at any of the casinos, this place is less than 10 miles from any of them off river! 💯👍😁
This has become one of my favorite places to have lunch. The food tastes like someone's grandma cooked it with love. Found out today that Ms. Ruthie is the cook and possibly someone's grandma (I'm not going to tell her age lol). Myka, the manager, has done wonders for the place. Decor is still beautiful. Staff pleasant and attentive. The quality, portion size and price of the meal gets an A+.
I went today for the first time.i actually won the Facebook drawing for free king cake beignets! 🥰It was an amazing experience. I got a privilege to have Tiffany as my server. She was sweet and got everything out in a timely manners. I give it a 10/10
I love this place! The restaurant is adorable, and the staff is so friendly and just good at what they all do. The omelets are fabulous & the fried green tomato BLT with horseradish mayo (pictured) is my very favorite sandwich.
We chose a place, randomly to eat off of maps & what a pleasant surprise! The food was great as well as our server, Tiffany! We had the Millionaire BLT , The make your own omelette, & Mediterranean toast….WONDERFUL! We will definitely be back!

I had a great experience at The Glass Hat Cafe. The food was fresh, flavorful, and clearly made with care. Everything we ordered came out hot and well prepared, and the portions were generous. The atmosphere is welcoming and relaxed, making it a comfortable place to sit down and enjoy a meal. The staff was friendly and attentive without being overbearing, and the service was quick even though the place was busy. You can tell they take pride in what they do and care about their customers’ experience. If you’re looking for a solid local spot with great food and a welcoming vibe, The Glass Hat Cafe is definitely worth a visit. I’ll definitely be coming back
some of the absolute sweetest staff i've ever met, and phenomenal food on top of that. if i could, i would honestly just order their omelets for breakfast every day. also tried the king cake french toast while i was here, would 100% recommend it ❤️
